2010 – Company Founded
Mozaic Entertainment was established in 2010. In its early years, the company planned and operated a variety of regional cultural events, including the Gwangju Biennale, Hampyeong Butterfly Festival, and the Hwasun Dolmen Festival.
2014 – International Recognition in Film
With the short film The Witness, Mozaic was selected as the opening film of the 6th Seoul International Extreme-Short Image & Film Festival, and was officially invited to the 17th Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (Japan) and the 30th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (France).
Other award-winning films include Because of the Cherry Blossoms, which made it to the finals of the 4th Going Underground Film Festival (Berlin) and the 6th Seoul Metro International Subway Film Festival, and The Very Old Theater, which won the Grand Prize at the 1st Ministry of National Defense Promotional Video Contest. These achievements marked Mozaic’s transition into a full-fledged film and video production company.
2015 – Viral Content Production
Mozaic expanded into viral video content, producing the popular Is This for Real? series for Pikicast, the mobile entertainment show Three Meals for a Man, and fake teaser trailers promoting theatrical releases such as Jurassic World, Star Wars, and The Maze Runner.
2016 – Music Video Production
During this period, the company focused on music video production, working with a range of artists including Kim Tae-woo (g.o.d), Tiffany (Girls’ Generation), Kim Bum-soo, and Peacock.
2020 – Surpassing 1 Billion KRW in Revenue
Mozaic produced a wide array of YouTube video content for major corporations such as Hyundai Motor Company, Hyundai Transys, Lotte Group, Lotte Confectionery, Hanwha Life, and GS E&C. In 2020, the company’s annual revenue exceeded 1 billion KRW.
2024 – Corporate Expansion
Mozaic transitioned into a corporate entity under the name Mozaic Film Inc.
The company received the Grand Prix in the Digital Content category at the A.N.AWARD 2024 for the web drama Tirecometry (produced for Nexen Tire), and achieved an average of 1 million views per episode with the web variety show Strong Friends (produced for Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation), solidifying its position as a go-to production company for branded video content.
2025 – Expansion into AI Video Production
Mozaic is now evolving into a next-generation AI-driven content company. By recruiting top AI artists from across the country, the company has begun specializing in generative AI-based video content production. Leveraging this advanced technology, Mozaic is currently producing two pioneering projects: the world’s first fully AI-generated short-form drama [Tararé Story], and the hybrid AI-live action series [Unwritten]
