Summary
Jin Kim is a special agent for the National Intelligence Service, raising his only daughter, Soo-hee, on his own after the early death of his wife.
One day, Jin receives the devastating news that Soo-hee has been gang-raped by her seniors at church. Struggling to contain his grief and anger, he pleads with the detective handling the case to conduct a thorough investigation and to ensure that the boys who assaulted his daughter are severely punished.
However, the detective, intimidated by the status of the suspects' parents—who include a sitting chief prosecutor, a city councilman, a pastor, a powerful Minister of Education, and the chairman of a major corporation—fails to pursue the case properly. To make matters worse, Soo-hee, unable to bear the shame and the ongoing harassment from the suspects, takes her own life, shattering Jin’s world.
In a society where the law is powerless to bring evil to justice, Jin decides to take matters into his own hands, launching a relentless and bloody campaign of revenge against the suspects and their influential parents.
