Ryohei Tsutsui is a Japanese independent film producer based in Tokyo and Vancouver with nearly two decades of career. He founded a production company Trixta in 2006, always looking for a challenging project which has the potential to expand cinematic horizon. Logline
Gabu is a puppet thriller inspired by a unique doll trick in which a beautiful Japanese woman transforms into a terrifying demon.

Synopsis
The story is set in Osaka in the Edo period. Daigo (29), who aspires to be a puppeteer, was stuck in the path of art. His younger disciple Yonosuke (23) stood out and was impatient. He had promised his childhood friend Hisako (24) that he would be a couple.
