Synopsis
The beginning of a serial murder case
A private equity fund CEO is shot dead in Yeouido, and a week later, a detective from the police station's intelligence unit is found strangled. Immediately after the serial murders, Kim Min-joon, a police officer stationed at the Korean Embassy in Hanoi, receives a request for his extradition from Baek Sang-gyun, chairman of Golden City Group, who is currently in hiding overseas. Baek Sang-gyun claims that the two murders were the work of North Korean agents who are looking for him, and that there is someone in the presidential office who is in collusion with North Korea. Kim Min-joon and Interpol's Lee Jun decide to conduct a disinformation operation to confirm whether there was a leak of information.

The inside story of Baek Sang-gyun, who requested his own repatriation, is gradually revealed. He was imprisoned due to gambling debts, but he escaped from the Macau casinos when a North Korean agent stationed in Vietnam paid off his debts.
