In the ruins of a distant future where humanity has disappeared, CHIO, an AI on a mission to restore human memory, finds an old piano in an old building. Through scans, it restores the memory of a man who once played music here, and begins to understand the past through the last vestiges of humanity, exploring the nature of humanity. The film raises philosophical questions about what it means to be human through the lens of AI's view of humanity in the past.
