Action Square has partnered with VTC Mobile, Vietnam's leading game publisher and a subsidiary of the state-owned VTC company. This publishing agreement, formalized at Action Square’s main office, signals a strategic entry into the Southeast Asian market, starting with their popular IP, 'Three Kingdoms Blade.'
Through this collaboration, Action Square will utilize VTC Mobile's strong presence in the Vietnamese gaming industry, where it commands a 20% market share, to widen the reach of 'Three Kingdoms Blade.' The partnership targets Southeast Asia, a rapidly expanding market for mobile gaming, driven by its substantial youth population.
Kim Yeon-jun, the CEO of Action Square, highlighted this partnership as a crucial step towards accessing the Vietnamese market, known for its complexities. 'Three Kingdoms Blade' has already been a hit in Korea, boasting over 3 million downloads, thanks to its unique blend of the classic Three Kingdoms narrative and Unreal-powered action. Their latest release, 'Three Kingdoms Blade Raising,' an idle RPG with state-of-the-art 3D graphics developed using Unreal Engine 5, is already available in 170 countries.
